Comedy & Confections Fundraiser
On March 21st 2026 from 7-9pm, RISE UP! will hold our annual Spring Fundraising Event. This year we are pleased to host ~ Comedy & Confections ~ an evening of laughs and generosity. Want to know what to wear to the event? What can I expect from the evening's program? Where do I park? We know you'll want to come to be part of this year's FUNdraiser comedy night and invest in the ministry. Seats will go fast, so buy a ticket today or even better host a whole table for friends!
Purpose
- Financial Support: Our annual Spring Fundraiser is important to the RISE UP! strategy of raising funds for the next school year. The event is put on by the ministry so that potential partners can learn about RISE UP! The Spring Fundraiser has proven to be a great tool to engage, educate & enlist invested families who can help sustain RISE UP! financially year to year. Our goal is to raise $60K during our spring fundraising season!
- Information: Prospective partners want to know what RISE UP! is all about. So we will explain our mission, share successes with our guests, and remind our faithful donors that their support truly matters. It's a great event to share the ministry impacts with a spouse who doesn't attend chapter meetings.
- Affirmation: We want to show off our RISE UP! kids. We will have a chance for our guests to get to know some of the students impacted by the RISE UP! ministry and show how our volunteers & donors are changing our communities for Christ.
What to Wear?
Come dressed in evening date attire ready to laugh and enjoy desserts. Dresses, slacks, jeans, button-downs, polos, sweaters, etc!

Dessert with friends, auction bidding/winning, hilarious comedy routine by Kenn Kington & an ask to partner with RU! financially - all done by 9pm!
